'Marching For Mollie' Sponsored walk, BBQ, Raffle, Bouncy Castle and more - Credenhill Court - 01st July 2018.
This is Mollie. Mollie is 5 years old. At the age of 3 Mollie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. After nearly 2 years of intense treatment and a rollercoaster of emotions Mollie was nearing the end of her treatment when earlier this year her family received the devastating news that Mollie had relapsed and would now face another long road of gruelling treatment and also required a bone marrow transplant. After an agonising wait a match was found for Mollie and her transplant is set for June 2018.
Throughout this journey Mollie’s family have raised lots of awareness and hundreds of pounds for Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia group (CCLG) and Phoebe (Mollie’s older sister) donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust and the family raised over £200 for them too.
A group of staff at Credenhill Court Rest Home and their families are doing a sponsored walk on 1st July 2018 “Marching for Mollie” to raise much needed financial support for Mollie and her family. We can only imagine the financial impact 2 years of travelling expenses and being unable to work every day due to numerous hospital admissions must have had on the family and Mollie still has a very long journey ahead of her.
Please sponsor us, any donation will be so gratefully received and everyone is welcome to join us as we return to Credenhill Court from 2pm on 1st July to join in with our fundraising where there will be a bouncy castle, food and drinks for all the family
